Eamon Queeney

Eamon Queeney is a Raleigh, North Carolina based freelance photojournalist available for editorial and commercial assignments. A 2011 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, he has also worked for the Columbus Dispatch, the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Evansville Courier & Press, Cincinnati’s alternative weekly CityBeat and the North State Journal. His work has appeared in the New York Times, CNN, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Washington Post, Dumbo Feather, the National Audubon Society, AARP and ESPN’s The Undefeated among many others.

Queeney attended the 26th Eddie Adams Workshop and has won numerous awards through the Ohio News Photographers Association and the North Carolina Press Photographers Association including being named the 2016 North Carolina Runner Up Sports Photographer of the Year and the 2014 Ohio Large Market Photographer of the Year, Sports Photographer of the Year and Monthly Clip Contest Photographer of the Year.
